For our Tech Solutions & Development team we are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect & Lead-Developer (d/m/w/x). You take a central technical role in one of our product teams and connect deep software engineering with technical solution responsibility at product level. You make sure that the product team's technical solutions are consistent, scalable, secure, predictable and fit to the overall architecture – in close cooperation with Product Owner, Product Engineers and System and Enterprise architects. The following tasks await you: Hands-on Engineering on Senior/Lead level: You are actively working on implementing complex solutions, structuring critical implementations and supporting technical refinements, prototyping and design decisions

End-to-end technical responsibility for the solution architecture of a product team – from the translation of technical requirements in resilient technical designs to implementation and operation

Takeover of the TSA role in the team: You meet technical architecture decisions within defined guide planks and make sure that solutions are consistent, scalable, secure, manageable and capable of connecting to the overall architecture

Development and review of technical solutions such as architecture and integration designs, API concepts, data models as well as sequence and flow charts

Ensuring technical quality in terms of architecture compliance, security, performance, resilience, sustainability, testability and observability – including through code reviews and technical reviews

Close coordination with Product Owners, Engineers, DevOps/SRE, QA as well as System and Enterprise architects to cleanly connect team-oriented solutions with overarching architectural specifications, platform strategies and governance requirements

Early identification of technical risks and debt as well as derivation of appropriate measures for technical development, e.g. in the areas of refactoring, automation, stability and scalability

Technical Sparring, Coaching and Guideline in the team as well as support in operation according to the principle “you build it, you run it”, including monitoring and technical incident support

Ideally, you bring the following: Study of Computer Science, Business Informatics or Comparative Qualification with Strong Practice

Multiannual experience as a Senior Software Developer, Lead Developer, Solution Architect or in a comparable technical role

Found practical experience in software development, ideally in complex, distributed system landscapes (approx. 5+ years)

Very good understanding of modern software architectures and solution designs, especially with regard to modularization, integration patterns, APIs and non-functional requirements

Experience in the translation of technical requirements into sustainable technical solutions within an agile product environment

Found experience in the development of distributed applications with Java Enterprise, Spring Boot or Quarkus in the backend, including API design, integration patterns and the implementation of technically demanding services

Very good practical experience in modern front-end architectures, especially with Angular and Redux as well as the development of predictable single-page applications

Comprehensive understanding of the interaction of frontend and backend, in particular with regard to interface design, state management, performance and technical wartability across the entire stack

Experience in the operation of distributed applications as well as in the handling of monitoring, incident handling and operational stabilization

Knowledge of cloud, container and platform technologies, ideally with Azure, Kubernetes or OpenShift

Good understanding of security, performance, scalability, wartability and observability in productive software systems

Experience in technical documentation, architectural modeling and review methods

Experience in creating SQL scripts, ideally in the context of PostgreSQL, as well as working with PostgreSQL databases

Ideally experience in regulated environments, in the financial services industry or in growing corporate architectures

Personal competencies: Strong analytical skills and structured approach
