Building and further development of the supply chain in China with particular focus on efficiency and sustainability Construction of new suppliers, mainly in China Implementation of supplier reviews to ensure quality and cost efficiency independent selection of new suppliers, as well as ensuring long-term cooperation Leading price negotiations for prototypes, zero series and series machines Close cooperation with the departments Development, Production and Quality Assurance to develop existing suppliers Monitoring of purchase costs and the associated compliance with target costs Early identification of cost potentials by incorporating suppliers into the development process

Practical experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in mechanical engineering High readiness for travel, especially for regular travel to China German and English skills Structured and self-sponsored working with a strong focus on priorities Interest in mechanical engineering and cooperation in the development of new machinery Enforced personality that is able to communicate decisions clearly and convincingly while still respectful and with fingertip feeling Good understanding of cultural nuances, especially in the Chinese context, to avoid conflicts and promote harmonious cooperation
