Your central tasks include the operation and administration of Oracle databases as well as other database systems. The performance, stability and availability of the database landscape are guaranteed at any time. Patching measures at database level are planned, accompanied and implemented cleanly. Also, you are responsible for backup and recovery processes and continuously develop them. The management of users, permissions and schemes is based on defined standards and operational requirements. In case of malfunctions or performance issues, analyse the causes and initiate appropriate countermeasures. In addition, you maintain technical standards and document relevant processes comprehensible and structured.

You have successfully completed an education or study in the IT field. Based experience in the operation of Oracle databases, we require this role. Knowledge of other common database systems is also welcome. In the areas of performance optimization, patching as well as backup and recovery you will bring practical experience. Also in the user, rights and schema management move safely. An analytical way of thinking and a pronounced quality awareness are what you distinguish. Your profile is rounded off by a careful, structured and responsible way of working.
