For our SOS Children's Village Wilhelmshaven-Friesland, we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, part-time (25 hours/Where.) Your task: Since 2016, our SOS nativity has been home to coastal children at the Banter market in the heart of the southern city. In two lovingly designed groups, a dedicated team of seven employees has a total of 24 children aged one to three years. As part of the family center South, the families of the crib children benefit from short paths and diverse offers directly on site: an open café area, parent-child groups and information and advice offers are available to them. This is complemented by a wide range of educational and promotional offers that support the cognitive, social, motor and creative development of children with stimulating activities. Need-oriented handling: You perceive the individual needs of the children and design the daily routine accordingly. Systematic observation & documentation: You observe child development in a targeted manner and document progress towards the best possible promotion of each individual child. Music and movement offers: You implement musical and psychomotoric offers to playfully promote the development of children. Parent work & team work: You maintain an open, esteemed exchange with parents and work together collegially in the team. Economic activities: You take over household tasks in everyday life and create a clean and welcoming environment together with the children. Responsibility & child protection: You implement the legal requirements for the protection of children and carers in a conscientious manner and can ensure the well-being of children.

Your qualifications and skills: You have a degree as an educator or a comparable pedagogical qualification and accompany the individual development of each individual child with professional competence and a sensitive view. You focus on the children's resources, interests and potentials and promote their educational work. With openness and creativity, you can access the child's curiosity and create exciting experience and test rooms with educational added value. Your handling of proximity and distance to the representatives is professional.
