Regional Category Manager:in (m/f/d)

As a Category Manager, you are responsible for carrying out strategic and tactical shopping activities and as a constructive Sparring Partner of the Supply Chain in cross-functional project teams.

You carry out the tactical purchasing processes (certificate/market analysis, information requests, tenders, negotiations, contract design and supplier and contract implementation) in close coordination with the relevant stakeholders.

You manage the supplier market with regard to procurement risks and opening up new and competitive sources of procurement.

You support the definition and implementation of the purchasing strategy taking into account the regional requirements and needs.

You coordinate procurement activities between project teams and the International as well as regional category managers.

You make your contribution to achieving the identified value creation and saving goals by implementing and using appropriate value levers, including implementing developed measures and tools for cost and value optimization.

You measure and monitor the performance of our suppliers using appropriate indicators and regularly discuss results and developments with your key suppliers.

You support and support stakeholders in creating functional and technical requirements (e.g. reviewing specifications), contract implementation, contract management and other suppliers-related topics.

You can have several years of professional experience in strategic and operational purchasing, according to well-founded expertise and expertise in handling high purchasing volumes and ideally have knowledge (suppliers, markets, trends) in the relevant business environment.

You bring a successfully completed study (technical or commercial) or comparable training, are open to Germany-wide readiness and have very good English skills.
