Animal Keeper - Behavior Analysis / Care / Organization (m/f/d)

Our animal welfare association was founded in 1956 and is a member of the umbrella organisation Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V. and its Landesverband in Rheinland-Pfalz. We provide information on animal welfare and operate our animal shelter in Speyer. The animal shelter was opened in 1959 and has since been operated in self-responsibility and close cooperation with the city of Speyer. The main task in the shelter is the supply of homeless pets. We offer our shooters as good as possible a home in time until a new home with a kind attitude is found.

You work with our shooters, even if You require special care, because You are chronically ill, in close cooperation with the veterinarians: You analyze behavioral vulnerabilities as well as mis or problem behavior You work with animal nurses: You are happy to support us in the assignment and care of volunteers: both in and above all in the placement of our fur noses to new owners: You also take shift services as well as weekend or holiday work We ask you to look away from non-industrial applications. Our protégées can only be handled with expertise.

You have completed training as an animal nurse (m/w/d) with certificate of expertise You bring professional experience at the shelter You have experience with behavioral vulnerabilities and can analyse mis or problem behavior You have a big heart for animals and put bad days away and you appreciate your reliability and flexibility You are an organizational institution and you like to plan workflows in care You own a license (min. car class B)
