System engineer navigation (m/w/d)

In your role, you create technical offer specifications, test regulations and performance descriptions for the integration of navigation systems. The evaluation and testing of the technical specifications of our system suppliers, the construction specifications and the load specifications is your responsibility. You agree to all the resulting requirements both internally and externally. The conduct of technical negotiations with suppliers and the examination of the documents falls within your area of responsibility. You will develop specifications and recommendations for the integration of your system components in the ship design. They take over the planning and monitoring of acceptance tests and commissioning at the manufacturer and on board.

They bring a completed technical study, ideally in the fields of news and information technology or electrical engineering or have a comparable technical qualification. You already have first professional experience in the field of system design of systems, also in project work. They have the ability to think across the system and have a good technical understanding, ideally from marine or shipyard activities. They are characterized by a reliable, independent and team-oriented way of working. They are characterized by good enforcement, are resilient and responsible. They are willing to attend on occasional missions.
