Ensuring sufficient capacity and performance to support business needs Continuous monitoring of existing infrastructure on bottlenecks Use of appropriate monitoring and reporting tools to identify and analyze trends Regular reporting to relevant stakeholders Definition and implementation of appropriate measures to address actual or forecast capacity and performance problems Participation in the service design phase and close cooperation with architects and developers to optimize solutions Participation in the definition and implementation of changes in capacity and performance Participation in Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB) Support in the analysis and solution of capacity and performance-related incidents and problems in close cooperation with the incident and problem management team
Complete study of computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in capacity management, performance monitoring or IT infrastructure Knowledge of relevant monitoring tools and methods (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Nagios) Experience with ITIL processes, in particular capacity management and change management Analytical and conceptual capabilities for detecting and solving capacity bottlenecks Communication and team skills for effective cooperation with different stakeholders Structured and independent operation
