Senior Account Manager (m/w/d) in full time with 39 hours per week from 01.07.2026 or at the next time

Management and organisation of financial management Management and organisation of all areas of financial management Personnel responsibility for financial management with several fields Responsibility for fundamental affairs of the public finances clarification and control of basic questions in economic, levies and tax law (including industrial and EU legal references) Total responsibility for the tax compliance of the municipality as well as control and monitoring of the Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS) Budget and financial management Drafting of the budget including financial planning and investment programme Ensuring proper implementation of budgets, arrangement Financial control and management of liquidity, loans and debt Responsibility for asset management Accounting and funding Total accountability including annual accounting Responsibility for funding, grants and grants Taxes, levies, municipality Responsibility for the proper fixing, collection and settlement of all public taxes and charges (basic taxes, trade tax, dog tax, waste fees, water/waste water charges, etc.) Contribution and fee calculations Responsibility for the cash flow of all acceptance and withdrawal orders, raising all taxes and fees of the municipality and other clients including dunning and recovery Audit of accounts Coordination and monitoring of local and out-of-court audits Waste management Creation of the waste management concept with charge collection and organization of the inventory of valuables Participations, institutions and contracts Community participation management Accompanying a local company and several companies in which the municipality is involved Responsibility for two water suppliers Principles on concession contracts (electricity, gas, near heat) Basic questions on land and development contracts and special agreements (including water supply) Advice, committee work and reporting Consultation of the 1st Mayor and the political bodies in all key financial matters Meeting service in the municipal council and in the relevant committees Ensuring meaningful reporting and compiling financial statistics

Senior Account Manager (m/w/d) AL II/BL II or comparable qualification Multiannual relevant professional experience in municipal finance, ideally in a senior position Funded knowledge in municipal household, cash and accounting (cameralistics) and municipal tax law Practice in contract design and audit (including purchase, rent, lease, funeral and use contracts) Leadership, decision-making and strategic thinking Negotiating skills and safe occurrence to the outside or to political bodies Safe for negotiation, strong communication and solution and service oriented Structured handling of deadlines and documentation Embossed communication and team skills
