Team Leader Maintenance - RME - Winsen (Luhe)

As a senior RME Technician, you help us stay one step ahead of development. You use the latest technologies and identify new, efficient working methods. In this role, you look closely at our processes and help us follow and further increase our highest safety standards. - Ensure that all work is carried out according to the highest safety standards (SOPs/LOTO), including role model, coaching and consistent implementation in the team

• Control and prioritization of disturbances, maintenance and tasks within the layer, including escalation management for minimizing standstills
• Monitor plant and equipment performance by floor walks, visual checks, maintenance-oriented monitoring and preventive maintenance; Deduction of additional measures as needed
• Implementation and coordination of sustainable bug fixes (RCA/5-Why) to improve availability, stability and plant performance
• Leading, supporting and further winding of technicians: inside the layer (training, feedback, skill construction)
• Guide and implement internal technical projects (e.g. optimizations in conveyor technology/automatization, safety or standardization initiatives) – from idea to planning and stakeholder alignment to implementation and success measurement
• Active driving of continuous improvement and standardization: identifying best practices, testing new solutions/methods and scaling in cooperation with the EU network A day in the life You run a maintenance team during your shift and make sure our technology runs reliably, safely and efficiently – in a highly automated environment that we continuously develop.
• Start of shift: KPI review, check open tickets/PMs, prioritization and task distribution in the team
• On-Floor Support: Tours, Safety Checks and Support for Disturbances in Systems and Automated Systems
• Performance in view: monitoring/analysis of plant conditions (e.g. via monitoring/SCADA) and deriving measures for stabilization
• Escalations & Stakeholders: Coordination with Operations, WHS/Safety, Engineering, Controls and External Partners for Fast and Sustainable Solutions
• Improvements instead of firefighting: Identify recurring errors, drive RCA, implement measures and make standards of them
• Project work: Plan and run internal optimization projects that measurably improve the availability, security and efficiency (e.g. conversions, process/standard work, reliability initiatives)
• Reporting & Handover: Clean documentation, shift transfer, alignment with managers on resources, projects and priorities

QUALIFICATIONS

• completed technical training (IHK/HWK or equivalent) or completed university studies in the field of engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable); also foreign, recognised qualifications).
• Additional qualification as industrial master:in/trade master:in/state-tested:r technician:in or at least 3 years relevant professional experience in maintenance/production/technical operation.
• At least 1 year of experience in the management of employees (disciplinary or professional), incl. operation/task control.
• At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance and/or technical operation of automated systems (e.g. conveyor technology, sorter, packaging/material flow systems).
• German knowledge of at least B2 (word and writing) and English knowledge of at least A2/B1 (principles for communication in the working environment).
• Ready to work in the layer model (depending on the application plan incl. weekends/nights possible). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in the control and coordination of foreign companies/service providers (e.g. maintenance, repair, remodeling), including instruction, safety instruction and quality management
• Basic understanding of PLC/PLC-based controllers as well as experience in cooperation with controls/automation (e.g. troubleshooting at interfaces, reading simple signals/diagnoses)
• knowledge of legal and operational compliance requirements in the technical environment (e.g. occupational safety, electrical safety, operator obligations)
• experience in handling CMMS/maintenance management systems (e.g. SAP, Maximo or comparable) for planning preventive maintenance and documentation of malfunctions/work orders
• Experience in continuous improvement/reliability methods (e.g. RCA/5-Why, FMEA, Standard Work) and implementing technical optimization measures
