We have developed the first German Enterprise Open Source Cloud and rely on the power from our four data centers in Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne. For more than 25 years, we have been supporting companies and contractors in IT-modernisation with innovative cloud services, hosting and colocation. What drives us? Currently we are looking for a full-time and unlimited:n IT-Storage Architect:in:

You are responsible for the new and further development of modern cloud, infrastructure and storage solutions and ensure that our platforms run reliably and performantly Solution designs are part of your task as well as technical implementation – from classic enterprise storage solutions to software-defined storage and object storage You accompany products and technologies throughout their lifecycle, from introduction to further development to detachment, and actively contribute to product development The best? You work with proprietary (NetApp, Veeam) as well as open source technologies like Ceph and have the opportunity to introduce your know-how in areas such as Kubernetes, OpenStack and Software-Defined Networking

Your personality, paired with: Multiannual experience in the cloud and infrastructure environment as well as sound knowledge in the administration of infrastructure systems Complete computer science study or comparable qualification Deep knowledge of storage technologies and ideally experience in the enterprise storage environment Experience with software-defined storage, e.g. Ceph, as well as with object storage and backup solutions such as Veeam A preference for independent and responsible work Joy of identifying and sustaining solving problems to achieve high availability Cost-efficient and scalable storage architectures to be responsible for content. We know that you may not currently meet all requirements. However, if you come to us with the right portion of engagement and enthusiasm, we can start and do a lot.
