Nursing staff post-anesthesiological monitoring station (m/w/d)

The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe is the largest hospital in the Middle Rhine region. It is shown in the health care plan of the state of Baden-Württemberg as a house of maximum care for the region and apprenticeship hospital of the University of Freiburg. Day by day and around the clock, more than 4,500 qualified employees ensure the care of patients. We are planning a new post-anesthesiological surveillance station. Here, our patients are intensively monitored and treated for up to 24 hours after their surgical intervention, before they can be moved back to the General Care Station. The station is operated from Monday 10 a.m. to Saturday 12.00 a.m. (services 14:18 p.m.). For this new post-anesthesiological monitoring station (Postanesthesia Care Unit) - PACU, we are looking for nursing staff (m/w/d) health care and nursing staffin, health care and children's caregiversin, nursing staff, caregivers*in, full-time and part-time (full-time 5 days week, part-time week – depending on model).

Careful and administrative intake and dismissal of patients or their transfer to other care units Postoperative monitoring of vital signs: monitoring of EKG, oxygen saturation, breathing frequency, blood pressure, temperature Monitoring vigilance, wound bonds, probes and drainages Handling complications such as bleeding, pain, respiratory disorders etc. The basic care for mobilization, possibly storage, excretion, diet etc. Implementation of a planned, documented nursing and maintenance of patient safety

A successfully completed training in one of the above professions Computer skills with administrative, organizational tasks Empathy, friendly ways of dealing and respectful behavior Collaboration readiness, team capacity, flexibility and resilience Willingness to continue and further education
