Description

• As an application engineer, you develop standard control software for mobile machines such as wheel loaders and excavators.
• You are responsible for the commissioning and optimization of electronically regulated hydraulic functions at the customer.
• You project and apply electronically controlled hydrostatic drive systems and work functions.
• In your role, you continue to test prototypes – both on the internal test track and with/from our customers on site.
• You work on studies and tune functional security requirements with customers and internal development departments.
• In cooperation with software development, sales and product management, you contribute significantly to the successful completion of projects and thus support the series release of our products.
• The coordination and validation of functional safety requirements is also part of your task.
• You define software requirements and shape the continuous development of our software platform.

Qualifications

• Training: completed studies in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• Experiences and know-how: good knowledge of software engineering, electrical engineering and/or vehicle technology; independent use of embedded systems tools such as Simulink, INCA or CANalyzer
• Personality and working methods: independent and reliable operation; quick conception for system relationships and customer requirements; strong team idea and communication strength; high readiness and commitment
• Enthusiasm: for software and technical solutions in working machines, commercial vehicles and cars; joy in project work; Interest in customer projects as well as responsibility for the entire process - from customer request to successful validation
• Languages: very good German and English
