You take responsibility for the professional transfer of the Know-Your-Customer Processes (KYC) as well as the processes for determining risk units according to KWG (creditor units) and Capital Requirements Regulation – (groups of connected customers) into the IT systems used including workflow design and parameterization / Customizing. You are responsible for the design, control and further development of process imaging in a specialized KYC system and for ensuring consistent and regulatory implementation. You are responsible for the methodological design and further development of the Know-Your-Customer Process (KYC) and the processes for determining risk units according to KWG (creditor units) and Capital Requirements Regulation (groups of connected customers). You take responsibility for quality assurance of processes and work results, especially in complex special cases and escalations. You are responsible for the professional implementation of release and acceptance tests, including independent evaluation of the results and delivery of binding acceptance decisions. You take over the design and control of reporting formats for management, compliance and revision as well as ensuring data quality and utilisation. You are responsible for a uniform system understanding by designing and implementing training and knowledge formats within the KYC unit as well as possibly other areas of the NRW.BANK. You are responsible for the technical contribution required from the KYC process to ensure the necessary measures for IT security, data protection and DORA compliance in the KYC data and process workflow. You are part of the agile supply/project organisation of NRW.BANK in KYC-related issues with a focus on the development and implementation of regulatory and processal requirements in IT systems in the context of change projects using agile methods.

You have a completed business studies (master or comparable) with specialisation in the banking sector or alternatively a bank training with professional training in the banking sector or a comparable qualification. You have long-term (project)experiences (at least 6 years) in the IT-technical implementation of complex technical processes in various systems ideally including the design of interfaces in the core banking system SAP or have preferably led projects in this environment. You have knowledge of the implementation of the rules on money laundering prevention and the formation of risk units according to KWG (creditor units – KNE) and (groups of connected customers – GvK) You are characterized by pronounced conceptual skills and proven expertise in IT-technical process design and monitoring or have led projects in this environment. Pronounced analytical competence and great care are yours and you have a strong skill in coordinating various interfaces to other areas. You have very good communication skills, high performance and the ability to deal with technical resistance You have the ability to explain complex issues in a comprehensible manner and to develop them in a manner that is appropriate to the address. You have a pronounced sensitivity in dealing with different points of view and requirements. You have knowledge of databases, implementation of interfaces (APIs), data analysis, cloud technology, ICT risk management according to DORA and have good English skills.
