IT-Experte SuccessFactors Employee Central (m/f/d)

The Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaften e. V. (MPG) is a self-government organization of science funded by the federal and state governments. At present, it operates 85 institutes and research institutes in Germany and abroad for basic research in science and humanities and is thus one of the leading international research institutes with numerous Nobel Prize winners in their ranks. The MPG founded the new central IT facility Max Planck Information and Technology (MaxIT) on 1 January 2026. This bundles and coordinates central IT activities of the MPG and is a reliable partner for science and administration. It consists essentially of the MPDL (Max Planck Digital Library) and the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) department of the General Administration. As a central institution for IT and library services, it develops and implements strategies and technologies in the areas of digitalization in science and administration, open science, library, publishing, IT infrastructure and IT security. In close cooperation with the scientific institutes and the General Administration (GV), MaxIT focuses on the efficient use of modern digital tools and technologies to sustainably promote digital transformation in science and administration. The SAP Competence Center of the ICT department is looking for the next time an IT-Expert*in (m/w/d) SuccessFactors Employee Central.

Participation in the pilot project focusing on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Analysis, design and implementation of requirements for master data management and organizational units in EC Interface design and implementation between SAP HCM (PVS), SF EC and SF Time Participation in the migration of personal and organizational data Test management, documentation and training for pilot institutes Transition to continuous operation: operation, support and further development of SuccessFactors Employee Central

Complete training or studies in the field of economics/informatics or a comparable qualification Knowledge of SAP HCM (SuccessFactors EC or SAP HCM OM/PA) Experience in interfaces and data migration Understanding master data processes and organization management Analytical, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Experience or willingness to participate in projects according to agile procedures (e.g. SAP Activate, Scrum, Kanban) Communication strength and team skills in a complex project environment Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing A flexible, independent, responsible and solution-oriented action and a friendly and binding occurrence
