We operate and monitor a variety of IT security components such as firewalls, application-level gateways, web content gateways, e-mail encryption gateways, IDSs, VPNs, switches, routers, email content scanners, and virus protection systems of various types within a working-time model of 24/7. From the invitation to tender of the technology to the procurement and configuration to the commissioning and monitoring of a component, we support everything ourselves. You have knowledge: in dealing with TCP/IP networks as well as complex error analysis, routing mechanisms such as OSPF & BGP, VLANs, in Linux/Windows, in programming, e.g. Shell, C, PHP, Perl, Java, JS or VB, in IuK security requirements and in enterprise antivirus systems. A high responsibility is associated with the performance of the tasks, so that you can perform a security check (SÜ 2) in advance. In order to ensure low-impact operation, you participate in the additionally remunerated readiness after extensive incorporation. From then on, home office is possible on up to two days a week. a completed degree (Bachelor/ Diploma [FH]) in the course of study Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering or a completed study (Bachelor/ Diploma [FH]) in a mathematical, scientific or technical course with a focus on data processing and as appropriate professional experience as possible; or equivalent skills and experience in the relevant fields If your language of origin is not German, a recognised language certificate is required for German knowledge, at least level C 2, in accordance with the competence scale of the Common European Framework for Languages (GER). The entire selection process is carried out in German. Beyond the formal requirements, you bring: practical experience in implementing IuK security requirements (e.g. BSI basic protection catalogue, emergency concepts, data protection and data security), experience in dealing with firewall systems, DMZen, knowledge of the handling of Unix systems, installation/configuration and shell as well as the creation of shell scripts, Experience in handling Wireshark or TCPDUMP. For the performance of the tasks we wish you: a great sense of responsibility, independence, flexibility and organizational capacity, the ability to methodological and analytical, innovative and constructive thinking, cooperation and coordination skills, a pronounced team capacity, good knowledge of the English language, in particular the specialist appointment, the willingness to work flexibly, possibly also on weekends and at night, as well as the participation in a regular willingness to call on weekends, public holidays and on normal weekdays over 7 days (remunerated working hours from Friday to Friday), the completion of the extended safety review (SÜ2) in accordance with the safety review law – SÜG – (precondition: within the last 5 years there was a permanent headquarters in the Federal Republic of Germany).
