Requirements and your profile: - Studying or training in the IT field with appropriate professional experience

• Practice in system administration (Linux / Unix, basic knowledge Windows) including monitoring and logging to detect and eliminate system passes
• Confidence with network bases (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls), storage management (NAS, SAN, cloud storage like S3) and cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid cloud solutions)
• know-how in IT security practices, including encryption, patch management and SIEM, as well as in Site Reliability Engineering and backup and disaster recovery strategies
• knowledge of virtualization and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins, as well as in scripting (Shell, Python, Perl)
• Analytical, independent mode of operation combined with problem-solving capability and independent time-sharing and task-priorization
• Communication skills in dealing with stakeholders, stress resistance, fun at work in the team and motivation to play a role in the long term
• Open to cultural diversity in an international environment

Your tasks

• You take care of what our bank holds in the interior: our Core Banking system, where you can make sure it runs the way it is supposed to.
• For this, you not only operate our interfaces to our banking to go app, internet banking and back office systems, but also as part of their lifecycle management and modernize them with us.
• Permanent availability is a reality of our systems and we work intensively and thoroughly so that you can ensure stability with us at critical moments.
• You're also going to pave the way to the future, bringing our applications to the latest level, constantly improving their scalability and finding smart solutions to automate our processes and tools around them.
• Analyze all changes in our periphery, both internally and externally, and evaluate them as carefully as well as expertly and then give informed approval recommendations.
