Student trainee in Group Accounting (m/f/d)

In this position, you will become part of our currently approximately 30-member accounting team (default, debitor and creditor accounting) and will work closely with the Director Accounting on selected topics around the consolidated financial statements, making a decisive contribution to the success of CHEPLAPAHRM.

Group Accounting & Completion: You participate in the consolidation of the group and assist in the production of consolidated and subgroup financial statements according to IFRS and HGB.

International Reporting: You support the processing and analysis of the reporting packages of our group companies. You help optimize the transfer and integration of reporting packages from the local GAAP to IFRS.

Analysis & Monitoring: You support target-actual analyses and plausibility checks to identify errors in reporting at an early stage.

Projects & Processes: You support us in projects in Accounting, for example in the conversion of the Reporting Structure, the documentation of processes, the introduction of new software solutions or the creation of guidelines.

Academic background and availability You are currently in an advanced bachelor's degree or at the beginning of your master's degree in economics or a comparable degree course, ideally focusing on accounting, finance or revision. Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in accounting in the course of internships or work students. You are available at least 15 hours per week for a minimum of 10 months.

Professional, IT and language skills The accounting according to HGB and/or IFRS is not completely new to you. Secure handling of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is natural for you; first experiences with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) are a plus. You speak German and English fluently. French, Japanese or Russian would be a big plus.
