As an industrial mechanic (m/w/d) in the field of machine and plant engineering, you are not a lightweight rose – because thanks to you everything goes here! Sturred muscles and sharper minds – this training makes you an absolute expert in metalworking. On our shipyard you can expect versatile activities: During your training, install, maintain and repair mechanical systems and components of ships, such as drive or rowing systems. In addition, operational maintenance as well as the repair and maintenance of complex technical systems belong to your tasks – your trained eye does not miss anything. You learn how to use machines, technical drawings and various manufacturing methods such as turning, milling and welding. In the training workshop you will learn the basics and go through special courses - so you will be optimally prepared for your final examination. Their design includes, for example, courses in thermal separation, turning/milling, in the control technology of machines and in electrical and gas welding. Of course, you will also be used in various manufacturing departments and also work directly on board our ships. Length of training: 3.5 years Professional school: BS04 Hamburg (block lessons)
