(Senior) Expert (open position) Data Protection / Custodian Bank

As a (Senior) expert (PGI) data protection, you actively participate in the construction of a new team and in the implementation of legal requirements and make an important contribution to ensuring a consistent business of V-Bank. Your duties include: Monitoring compliance with data protection and the obligation to carry out risk-oriented activities and their performance of tasks, such as advice and monitoring of the implementation of data protection impact assessments, maintenance of the directorate of processing activities, processing of data subjects' requests Review of technical and organisational measures (TOM), verification of processors, compliance with information and transparency requirements Information and consultation of the Executive Board and the employees on all issues of data protection Contact point for supervisory authority and cooperation Close cooperation with the function of the operational data protection officer

Successfully completed studies with qualification in the area of responsibility, bank clerk / bank clerk or comparable commercial training Basic knowledge of the underlying laws and regulatory and legal requirements in the banking sector (e.g. KWG, MaRisk, GDPR, DORA) Including seminars or certifications (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM or CIPT of IAPP, GDDcert. EU or TÜV or DEKRA) Professional experience and knowledge of the key business areas and processes of banks and relevant knowledge of deposit and account management Experience in handling data protection management tools for inventorying business processes, information classes or data categories Knowledge of modern data, cloud and AI technologies as well as their data protection and regulatory implications for banking processes Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Structured and careful operation High level of independence and sense of responsibility Communication and team skills Flexibility and commitment Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
