Number: MER0003ZRU The ''Mercedes-Benz Production System (MPS)'' division is the leading know-how carrier for lean management in the Mercedes-Benz Group and advises Mercedes-Benz plants in Germany and abroad as internal consulting. The MPS Office is responsible for the worldwide and sustainable implementation of MPS/Lean philosophy from planning to production to administration. In the form of consulting projects, vulnerabilities are analysed in the different areas of expertise, fields of action are derived and measures are implemented. We offer you the opportunity to get involved in interesting and challenging topics within interdisciplinary project teams during an internship. Due to the wide range of tasks (assembly, manufacturing, logistics, planning, etc.), there are a variety of possible projects that you can work with in close cooperation with our Lean experts. These challenges come to you: Creation and analysis of value flows with evaluation under MPS and Total Cost Viewpoints

Development of alternative processes including Evaluation of the optimization potentials

Consulting internal customers in terms of lean production and management processes

Takeover of your own topics, such as the planning, implementation and documentation of partial tasks within the project

The activity can begin from May 2026.

Course in Engineering, Economics or comparable studies

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Commitment, team skills and contact

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Completed vocational training of advantage

Interest in lean management/process improvement
