Embedded software development: development of firmware and hardware-related software for our control and automation systems based on modern ARM microcontrollers (e.g. Cortex-M). Hardware-related programming: implementation of drivers, communication interfaces and control functions for sensors, actuators and electronic assemblies. Software Design & System Integration: Development of new functions for our existing control platforms and support of integration in hardware and software systems. Test & Debugging: Implementation of module, integration and system tests, analysis of fault images and optimization of the software in terms of stability, reliability and performance. Cooperation with hardware development: close coordination with our hardware developers during commissioning, troubleshooting and further development of existing products. Documentation: Creation of technical documentation, test reports and development documents for new and existing systems.

Education / Studies: Complete study of computer science, electrical engineering, technical computer science, mechatronics or a comparable qualification. Programming knowledge: Good knowledge of C and C++ and experience in the development of embedded software. Microcontroller & Embedded Systems: Finded knowledge in handling ARM microcontrollers (preferably Cortex-M), development environments, debuggers and build systems. Communication protocols: Experience with industrial interfaces and bus systems such as CAN, SPI, I2C, UART or Ethernet. Hardware understanding: Basic understanding of electronic circuits as well as experience in hardware-related development and troubleshooting are of advantage. Working methods: You work structured, analytically and independently and at the same time appreciate the professional exchange in the team. Language skills: Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing. Travel readiness: Local service trips to support projects and commissioning on site.
