Data analysis & data processing You support the analysis, structuring and processing of data from different business areas of the Encavis Group. These include operating, asset, financial and performance data, which serve as the basis for analyses, reports and data-driven decisions. Working with analytically relevant data structures As part of your tasks, you also work with structured and historized data and – depending on the use case – with time series data, such as in the context of performance, forecasts or operational key figures. Working in Data, Analytics and AI‐Use-Cases You participate in data, analytics and AI projects that improve professional processes, increase transparency or support decisions. It can be e.g. analysis, automation, forecasting, anomaly detection or AI-based evaluations. Modeling, validation & interpretation You support the development, testing and improvement of analytical models and logics and help to critically classify, validate and prepare results for addressing. Research & conceptual support You are researching methods, tools and solutions in the field of data science, analytics and artificial intelligence and supporting new ideas in a structured way. Cooperation with departments, IT and Asset Ocean You work closely with colleagues from departments, IT and Asset Ocean, the central data and analysis backbone of Encavis. Insights into modern AI applications You support the design and implementation of AI applications in analytics, copilots, and perspective agent-based architectures – wherever You are technically useful and provide measurable added value.

Study & Immatrikulation You have completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics or Similar) or will complete it by September 2026 at the latest. Your current or planned enrollment in a master's degree is crucial. Analytical strength You have a very good analytical understanding and interest in data, model and fact-based issues. Structured operation You work carefully, reliably and autonomously, and you can clearly structure and elaborate complex topics. Communication You can formulate analytical content in a comprehensible manner and prepare it for addressing – both for professional colleagues and for stakeholders without a deep technical background. You also have good English skills in word and writing. Nice‐to‐haves: Methodological basis You have already gained first practical or academic experience in one or more of the following areas: Statistics Data analysis Data Science Machine Learning Forecasting Time series analysis Technical skills First knowledge in: Python for Data Analysis and Prototyping SQL for data queries and data understanding Power BI, notebooks or comparable analysis and visualization tools APIs, data pipelines or analytical data models ideally also basic knowledge of modern cloud or data warehouse environments Experience in the practical handling of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents Interest in AI in business context You are interested in how AI can be integrated into analysis, decision-making and work processes in a meaningful way – pragmatically, responsibly and with a view to actual added value. Interest in the energy sector You want to work in business models, data and processes in the environment of renewable energies. In cooperation with the FH Wedel With the Master+ model of the FH Wedel, Encavis graduates offer the opportunity to combine a full-fledged master's degree with a parallel activity in the company. The Master+ is not a dual study, but a model in which students regularly study at the FH Wedel and gather their practical experience at Encavis. The approval requirements and the final approval decision are reviewed by the FH Wedel.
