(Assistant) Underwriter Industrial Property Insurance (m/f/d)

Locations: Frankfurt am Main and/or Hannover

You are the first respondent for customers, brokers and sales, even in complex matters. These include contractual processing – from polishing to ongoing stock management. Your activity is also in the technical evaluation and drawing of offers for property and BU risks in industry and wholesale, according to your previous knowledge. For this, you analyze risk information, evaluate opportunities and risks and meet sound drawing, pricing and capacity decisions. In addition, you are responsible for the creation of offers, conduct consolidation and reward negotiations and work closely with underwriting, risk engineering and sales. You analyze portfolio key figures, guide optimization measures and actively contribute to the profitability and quality of the portfolio. In the event of interest, it is possible to fully supervise and coordinate international insurance programmes.

You have completed training as a businessman for insurance and financial investments (m/w/d), an insurance-related study or a comparable qualification, and you already have professional experience in the field of insurance. An analytical working style, sound decision-making and an overview of complex risks are among the personal strengths. In addition to professional competence, you are convinced by communication strength, negotiation skills and strong customer and service orientation. You like to work in the team, take responsibility and actively engage with your own initiative and a solution-oriented approach. Good knowledge of English, especially in the international industrial insurance business, is advantageous.
