The city of Passau is looking for a Social teachers, educators or applicants with comparable qualifications for the management of the open area in the witness house (m/w/d) At the 01.07.2026 youth centre Zeughaus, a job is to be reoccupied full-time. The place is divisible if the presence is guaranteed during the opening hours in day-to-day operation and during evening and weekend events. Their field of work includes pedagogical work and the management of the open area in the youth center Zeughaus with shares of youth-cultural development.

Ensuring the day-to-day operation and the fixed opening hours in the open operation of the youth centre Targeted and up-to-date media use for and with the target group Organisation and implementation of play, experience and education-oriented actions, workshops and events Organisation and implementation of youth-cultural offers and events in close coordination with the College Contact person for the most diverse concerns of young people and their low-swelling support in possible crisis situations Development, establishment and development of youthful forms of participation Establishment and support of volunteer youth teams in the areas of youth cultural events, open operation and local activities Network work with initiatives, institutions and organisations of the community, as well as regional authorities (City Youth, Caritas and Diakonie, Youth Initiatives ...) Continuous updating and updating of the Youth Centre Conception Deputy Head of the Department of Youth Employment Representation of colleagues in the Youth Centre, including youth work

Successfully completed studies in social work/social pedagogy or a successfully completed study in comparable courses (e.g. education, experience education, cultural education) or Completed training for/to the state-recognized educator Healing nurse or in a comparable pedagogical profession with multiannual professional experience Educational basic knowledge and experience in dealing with children and adolescents Experience in open youth work is beneficial Administrative knowledge is advantageous Self-working and team skills Contact and enforcement capability Ready to work even in the evening, on weekends and holidays Willingness to continue and further education Founded computer knowledge, especially in MS Office applications Driving licence class B and willingness to use your own private car service (against distance compensation, driving licence is to be added to the application)
