Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

As a senior contract manager: you are responsible for our Europe-wide tenders end-to-end and create the structural basis for our project success. As a central interface between our management, leadership and specialist teams, as well as our external legal advisors, you are looking to translate legal guidelines into pragmatic solutions. Details about the place Strategic procurement management: You control Europe-wide tenders (e.g. IT & Services) end-to-end and use the VgV as a design tool for efficient solutions. Active Stakeholder Management: You are central:in the Leadership team as well as the departments. You prepare policy templates for management, coordinate organizational requirements with the Project Leads and translate complex procurement requirements into an understandable language for all stakeholders. Intelligent Planning & Monitoring: You translate annual targets into clear milestones and implement a proactive early warning system for thresholds and deadlines. This allows you to recognize operational blockers at an early stage and to ensure project success through targeted mitigation. Process Design & Compliance: You develop binding guidelines and scalable workflows that translate legal requirements into smart, reusable processes. Takeover of People Leadership: You take the disciplinary responsibility for at least one team member in the Procurement Team, promote the further development and establish effective cooperation.

Procurement expertise: You have profound experience in the independent implementation of EU-wide VgV procedures. It is easy for you to structure complex performance directories in such a way that You cover both the needs of agile teams and are competitively waterproof. Sovereign Stakeholder Advisory: You advise the leadership team as well as the departments at eye level – even in critical situations or in review procedures. You can translate complex legal issues into an understandable language. Strategic risk management: You have a look for critical deviations, are proactive and develop solutions for the organization's strategic challenges. Digital Affinity & Data Competence: E-forwarding tools are safe. You use Dashboards and KPIs for transparent monitoring and are keen to advance the digitization of our internal procurement processes through innovative tool approaches. First management experience: You already have first leadership experience and you want to take over cross-border team responsibility. It is easy for you to translate area goals into clear work packages, delegate them in the team and accompany your colleagues in the implementation. Language skills: You speak fluent German (C1) and English (min. B2). We speak both languages in everyday work.
