Innovative screening of metallic high-temperature materials for the efficient determination of creep behavior by means of bending creep tests: Further development of the existing bending creep device Conducting bending crimping tests on metallic high-temperature materials for accelerated characterization of creep behavior Conducting single-axis creep tests (train, pressure) and comparing the results Characterization of the microstructure property relationship with light microscopy, REM and EBSD Correlation of microstructure and creep behavior Publication of results

Completed academic studies (Diplom / Master) in the field of materials science, materials technology or cfb. Completed doctorate Knowledge of mechanical behaviour and microstructure of metals and their deformation mechanisms at high temperature Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in the mechanical testing of high-temperature materials, including various methods of strain measurement Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in microstructure characterization with light and electron microscopy (REM, EBSD) Knowledge of the finite element method is advantageous Proven publication activities in recognised international journals Very good English skills in word and writing, good German skills are advantageous Good communication and information behaviour, targeted and structured working Initiative / ready-to-use and ability, team skills and willingness to cooperate and willingness to learn
