The SOS Children's Village Prignitz offers a place of encounter and support for all people from the social area and especially for children, young people and parents. Our help from a single source includes children's daycare facilities, early help, educational counselling centres, youth and school social work, a multi-generation house, a children's and youth campus centre and various stationary offers in the urban children's village.

At the SOS Children's Village Prignitz we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, part-time (20 hours/day)

In your responsible role as a learning coordinator*in you take on a central interface between pedagogical support, individual support and interdisciplinary cooperation. Your main tasks include: Planning, coordination and/or implementation of individual funding opportunities for children and young people – with a view to their respective educational and personal needs Implementation or coordination of diagnostic services to develop accurate support measures in the school context Development, implementation and management of school performance promotion in close coordination with the pedagogical team, teachers and other departments responsible implementation of child and care protection – with great care and professional attitude

a completed study of social education or a comparable educational course first experience in stationary youth assistance and sound knowledge in didactics as well as support diagnostics open, clear and facing communication with children, adolescents and their families – combined with genuine interest in their individual lives and solutions an independent, structured and targeted way of working, combined with reflectivity and the ability to remain sensitive and humorous even in challenging situations Joy in a lively, collegial teamwork and active participation in a beneficial educational environment safe handling of proximity and distance, worn by a professional attitude a valid class B driver's license to operate flexibly and mobile
