Educator Youth and Home Education (m/f/d)

We believe that every behaviour has a good reason. For our trauma education group in Flensburg we are looking for people who want to work with this attitude. As a supporter of youth assistance, we accompany young people with complex needs in a reliable setting with 10 seats and 4 self-employed places in the transition to an independent life.

Designing a reliable and structured everyday life for young people with complex loads Building sustainable relationships and accompaniment in everyday life Trauma pedagogical work with focus on safety, stabilization and orientation Support in the development of self-employment and perspectives Crisis intervention and deescaling action in challenging situations Planning and implementation of educational offers and group processes Accompanying school and professional topics Cooperation with youth offices, schools, therapists and other stakeholders Participation in assistance plan discussions and expert assessment of development processes Documentation and reflected case work in the team

Complete training or studies in the educational field, e.g. social education, social work or education Experience in working with young people, ideally in stationary youth assistance Interest in trauma pedagogical work and willingness to further develop Ability to remain calm, clear and operational even in challenging situations Reflectivity and a conscious approach to proximity and distance Reliability, Responsibility and Teamability Willingness to shiftwork and weekend work
