Your work focuses on the responsibility for the drinking water collection areas: their determination, demarcation and continuous description you are using

Based on the risk analyses and risk assessments you have carried out on ground and surface water inputs, you can design and implement suitable investigation programs

You coordinate the complete electronic documentation in accordance with Section 12 of the ''Teach WEGV'', maintain it continuously and transmit the notifications to the competent authorities in due time.

As part of risk management, reporting requirements and protection measures, you are contact persons for authorities, environmental authorities and other specialist bodies

You are involved in planning and approval procedures that may affect water resources in the catchment area

You monitor current environmental and land developments in the catchment areas and, if necessary, implement suitable prevention measures

In addition, you will develop information and communication materials for different target groups – from public to agriculture to industry

You have successfully completed your studies in geosciences, environmental sciences, water management or in another engineering course
