Social pedagogue in vocational preparation

More than 380 employees in the bbw Südhessen are strongly committed to finding their place in the job and in society with support needs. We offer professional orientation, professional preparation and training in over 30 professions, as well as supervised housing and “helps for education”. With this, we give young people with learning disabilities, disadvantage, mental illness or the Autism spectrum the necessary boost to actively take their lives into their hands. As a social pedagogue in the coaching workshop of professional preparation, you act as an expert for the development of new concepts and projects. In addition to social competencies and application training, you also offer experiential and practical offers for the participants. In addition, you support the participants' life-structural skills and provide development-promoting advice and individual case assistance. As part of your activity, you support our participants in conflict and crisis management. Actively promote networking to institutions of vocational education and convey the participants.

You have a completed educational or educational degree or a comparable degree. In addition, you could already gain professional experience and/or expertise in working with young people with a learning disability, mental illness and/or from the autism spectrum. As a social pedagogue, you can work conceptually and introduce your ideas into projects. You want to work creatively with the most diverse young people and face them with empathy and an appreciation attitude.
