Global Category Manager (m/w/d)

You control the entire procurement process for projects in the field of industrial trucks, construction machines & plants – from the demand clarification via market analysis, tendering, tender evaluation and negotiation to the conclusion of the contract You are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal interfaces and suppliers as well as for designing and implementing the procurement strategy in your area You optimize the cost structures by selecting, evaluating and developing strategic suppliers, identifying new technologies and markets and negotiating framework agreements as well as terms In addition, you continuously analyze and improve our purchasing and procurement processes, integrate digital tools, scale best practices and identify data-based trends for sustainable efficiency enhancement In addition, identify procurement risks, derive appropriate countermeasures and ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines
