(Junior) Software Developer Java (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You support us in the design and development of application systems in the insurance environment for our customers in German-speaking countries
• Using agile methods, you develop our software (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)
• You work in the implementation of challenging and varied topics and are accompanied by mentors:
• With design decisions and the further development of existing systems, you use the space for exchange of experience within the team

Your qualification

• Complete study of (economic) informatics, mathematics, natural sciences or comparable training
• first experience in software development with the programming language Java or another object-oriented language; also through internships
• Interest in methods of agile software development
• A strong IT affinity, a good portion of technical curiosity and an understanding of complex relationships and processes
• Own responsibility, creativity and openness for new perspectives
• Fun at work in the team as well as good German and English skills

Software development

• We accompany your start with a multi-day onboarding program in the first year. In addition, a specialist in the field is available for all your questions during your time of incorporation into the challenging and varied topics.
• You have the pleasure of new technologies, but you are not already an expert (all genders) in every subject area – we invest in our employees and continuously expand your technical priorities and interests together with you. Behave yourself, even if you don't already master all the technologies mentioned.
• In addition, we enable mobile work, so that we can work both at our locations and remotely (about 50% home office).
