The Office for Internal Affairs and Organisational Development is a member of the Chancellor of JGU. The tasks of the Staff Office include the development of internal requirements and guidelines as well as processes that ensure compliance with applicable legal and internal requirements. JGU's Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for the selection, introduction and use of information and communication systems as well as the design of IT-supported business and administration processes at JGU. He is head of JGU's IT security board, which is responsible for JGU's IT and information security strategy. As Managing Director* of JGU's IT security board, CIO supports the analysis and improvement of IT security, consulting decision-makers, compiling reports on the state of IT security and evaluating reports on security incidents of the crisis management team. You are also information security officers. In this role, you are entrusted with the further development and implementation of the information security strategy at JGU. You contribute significantly to the design of JGU's IT and information security and coordinate the various stakeholders of JGU and cooperation with external service providers.

Their activities include: continuous evaluation of structures, measures and processes in the field of IT and information security Creation of reports on the status of IT and information security Detection of measures to increase IT and information security Developing the IT and information security strategy of JGU in cooperation with the CIO and other members of the IT security board Consultation and support of university decision-makers, in particular the Bureau, and operators of JGU IT systems Management, networking and coordination of the IT security board Responsibility for successful planning, organisation and management of projects to improve information security structures

completed academic studies, ideally with a legal, economic-informatic or information technology focus knowledge of IT security management or readiness to incorporate in particular the current developments in IT security, e.g. the BSI IT basic protection Basic knowledge of IT systems Knowledge of project management German knowledge (min.
