Number: MER0003VFU In Group Research and the Mercedes-Benz Cars development, we design the automotive generations of the future. We mean innovative products of the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz in the future. The battery development center (RD/EB) is responsible for the development of high-voltage batteries within Mercedes-Benz AG. In the Department of Cell Technology and Concepts (RD/EBK), the cells of the next generation are developed and released. In the new E-Campus, these cells are built up and tested comprehensively. The aim is to significantly increase the degree of maturity of the cell design during the development phase and to create an optimal environment for testing production technologies – with a view to their subsequent implementation in series production (GigaFab). Your tasks include: Project management support in the individual work packages in the E-Campus

Takeover of own work packages from the tasks of our project management

Independently performing test series in the laboratories

Support for various design and planning activities around the Zelltechnikum project

Active participation in product and process optimization in cell technology

The activity can begin from December 2025.

Study programme in the field of technology (machine engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering) or a comparable study programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Techn. Vocational training desirable

Good technical understanding

Knowledge of project organization
