Financial accounting (m/f/d)

We advise companies from the food industry around the subject of personnel throughout Germany. Our customers are medium-sized, owner- or family-run companies that enjoy a long tradition and outstanding regional brand awareness. Our client is a traditional, family-run bakery company with several hundred employees, which combines real bakery craft with modern technology. For financial accounting, no mere work is sought, but a personality that takes responsibility and actively shapes the future of the company with sound figures. Tasks You are responsible for the company's entire operational accounting system and ensure reliable, timely and legally compliant accounting. Your responsibility includes creditor, debitor and asset accounting as well as wage and salary accounting including banking accounting and payment transactions. Together with the external tax consultancy, you prepare monthly and annual accounts and are responsible for the Mahnwesen. You support tax issues and create reports for authorities and administrations. You analyse the financial key figures, prepare reporting for the management and provide resilient decision bases for corporate management. You identify optimization potentials, develop processes and actively introduce their own ideas – especially with regard to the digitization of existing processes. As a central contact person, you work closely with the management, external tax advisors, auditors, financial offices, HR and executives. It is possible to take over the technical and disciplinary management of the accounting team. Requirements You have a completed commercial training, for example as a tax specialist, accountant or paybook holder (m/w/d), ideally supplemented by a further training on the financial or balance sheet holder (m/w/d). You bring several years of professional experience in a tax law firm or in the financial accounting of a medium-sized company. You work structured, independent and with high accuracy; Analytical thinking, discretion and sense of responsibility are what you distinguish. A pronounced technical affinity and openness to new software and digital processes are of course for you. You convince by very good prioritization, communication and structuring capabilities. You have very good German knowledge (at least C1) and a class B licence. You work safely with MS Office and ideally with DATEV.
