Career changer as a train driver

As a driver, you are responsible for the safe operation of the vehicles and the timely transport of the passengers. At 01.01.2027 we are looking for a cross-entry as a locomotive driver:in (w/m/d) at DB Regio AG in Halberstadt or Stendal. During the 12-month internal retraining at the Chemnitz training site, we prepare you for your job entry. The qualification usually takes place from Monday to Friday, so you can spend the weekends at home. If daily arrival to Chemnitz is not possible or reasonable, we will support you during the retraining with an accommodation on site. During your functional training, cross-incomeers:in a locomotive guide, you will receive an adjusted entry level. After successful completion of the training, your salary will be increased to the entry level of the target activity.
