Underwriting, Claims and Business Development is the disciplinary and professional leadership of Underwriting, Damage Management, Mobilo Program Management and Business Developments at Mercedes-Benz Versicherung AG. The focus is on the development and implementation of strategies in all areas of responsibility, which are paying attention to the overall objectives of the company and strengthen market positioning. This is associated with the income and cost responsibility by ensuring profitability, an optimized drawing policy in underwriting, efficient damage management with the help of targeted service provider control and successful business development. The job owner*in is responsible for continuous improvement and digitization of processes across the departments. In doing so, he/she supports active co-design and further development of the product portfolio and assistance services in a key role to respond to market needs and drive innovation. The position is drawn by an extensive interface management. This includes close cooperation with internal departments such as sales and product management as well as external partners and service providers. The following tasks await you: Guided tour: The position includes the disciplinary and professional leadership of several areas responsible for underwriting, damage management, Mobilo program management and business development Responsibility for earnings and costs: Ensuring profitability through an optimized drawing policy in underwriting, efficient damage management and successful business development Continuous improvement and digitization of processes in underwriting and damage management to increase efficiency and effectiveness Active participation and further development of the product portfolio and assistance services in a leading position to respond to market needs and drive innovation Identification, assessment and management of risks in underwriting as well as implementation of strategies to prevent and combat fraud Strategic orientation and control: Development and implementation of strategies in all areas of responsibility, which deposit on the overall objectives of the company and strengthen market positioning Monitoring the market, analysis of competitors and trends to derive strategic measures and to develop new business opportunities Close cooperation with internal departments such as sales and product management as well as external partners and service providers
