Within the Quality and Testing department, our team is responsible for testing automation technology. Our focus is on the development and optimization of test environments in the form of digital twins in industrial automation, which represent production behavior as accurately and reliably as possible. Support in the development of test environments in the form of digital twins to be able to accurately map production scenarios using advanced PLC software

Support of stakeholders in test activities by performing and documentation of tests on digital twins

Identification of optimization potentials and subsequent implementation in existing simulations

Support in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts using the Siemens TIA Openness API and Azure Pipelines to ensure robust and efficient test processes

Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation

Reporting on the progress of tasks in regular meetings

You are a student (m/w/x) of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or a similar subject

great interest in industrial automation and virtual commissioning

proactive and pragmatic working and strong team spirit with a high level of initiative and independence

Knowledge of industrial automation software, in particular Siemens Automation (TIA Portal) desirable

Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, especially Python and C# desirable

Knowledge of the use of Matlab and Simulink to simulate the behaviour of real devices desirable

You can communicate safely in German and English
