To make our car rental comparison even more customer-friendly and efficient, we are looking for you as (Junior) Go Developer (m/w/d) at CHECK24 Comparator Portal Car Rental GmbH. We look forward to your application!

Your tasks include

• Work in the team: You work on exciting topics about our multilingual car rental comparison. Here you focus on API-based communication with our partners and providing backend interfaces for our car rental comparison. You also work closely with other backend teams to connect REST APIs and other backend systems
• Responsibility: You are responsible for the technical implementation of product improvements and set new standards to make our product better and faster
• Tech-Stack Optimize: You develop new innovative features, with your focus on high-performance software, fast response times and a scalable overall architecture - Clean Code is of course for you
• Realize projects: You take care of the requirement analysis, the design of the overall architecture, and the implementation of the individual components
• Innovation by AI: You are actively engaged in generic AI (e.g. Copilot, Cursor AI or Jetbrains Junie) – both for the automation of development tasks and for the development of new features as well as for the quick and understandable explanation of code
• Ensure coordination and communication: you ensure automation through the construction of a CI/CD pipeline. Linting, Unit tests, System Tests and Observability/Monitoring are of course yours

What you bring

(m/w/d) or comparable training in IT or studies in computer science

• Practical experience: First professional experience and understanding of concepts of object-oriented programming
• Tech-Stack: Very good skills in Golang or another programming language (e.g. Java, PHP, C++ or Rust)
• Digital Mindset: Passion for the development of high-performance software and fun on codes. In addition, you actively explore new technologies such as Generative AI to make your work more efficient
• Drive and Spirit: Embossed Quality Consciousness, Hands-On Mentality, Fun in Developing, Very Good Communicative Skills and Team Skill
• Language skills: German language skills and good English skills
