Nurse nurses: inside the weekly bed station (or neonatological station) care for newborns, monitor their vital functions and support mothers in breastfeeding and baby care. Their main tasks include the nursing care of infants, counselling of parents, carrying out medical measures according to medical arrangements and documentation of care. You are important references to the young family. Core tasks in detail: Nursing care of the newborn: This includes the first bathing, navel care, winding and regular measuring of body temperature, weight, breathing and skin color. Advice and guidance of parents: Children's caregivers: parents are in charge of changing, bathing and general care in order to convey safety in dealing with the newborn. Support for breastfeeding: You advise mothers on questions of breastfeeding, help to prepare or prepare bottle food and monitor food intake. Medical supervision: You carry out controls on newborn yellowing (Ikterus), monitor the vital parameters and perform necessary screenings (e.g. metabolic screening). Team collaboration: You work closely with midwives, doctors and nursing services to ensure optimal care for mother and child.
