They get to know all areas of beer production, because a brewer controls and monitors the entire brewing process: from the acceptance of the raw materials to the filling of the beer. The assessment of the quality of barley, wheat or hops is also part of the task, as is the time, temperature and quantity control during the maize process. He also examines the clarity and concentration of the wort, conducts water analyses, controls the fermentation and the filtration process, analyzes the beer and monitors the plants. The Brauer & Mälzer is no longer touching the mash by hand in the boiler, but controls all production processes with the help of the most modern technologies.
