Backend Developer - Microservices & AI Integration (m/f/d)

DISCLOSURE Building and developing platform-backend: You develop scalable, wartable microservices for br.AI.n and SemReasoner — with Java & Spring boat as a technical foundation and a clear view of architecture quality. Implement Agentic Integrations: You integrate external services and protocols into our platform, including MCP servers, LLM APIs and third-party systems, and thus specifically expand the capabilities of our agent architecture. Understanding and expanding Semantic Backend: You work closely with the SemReasoner core — ontologies, knowledge graphs and semantic reasoning are not buzzwords for you, but building blocks that you transfer to production-ready services. CI/CD & Deployments are responsible: You build and maintain robust deployment pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or the like) and make sure that new features go quickly, safely and reproducibly into production. Cloud & Containers operate: You bring our services to Kubernetes and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) — with the aim of not only being viable but operationally sound. Get MLOps: You integrate AI workflows into our production infrastructure – from model delivery to automation of training and inference pipelines (e.g. with cubeflow, MLflow or Argo workflows). Promote Proof-of-Concepts: You test new ideas early, pragmatic and with clear validation aim — and know when a POC is ready for production and when not. .

Solid backend craftsmanship: Multiannual experience in Java and Spring Boot, Microservice architectures and the design of scalable, loosely coupled systems — you know what is in production and what is not. Agentic-AI confession: You think AI-native — you understand how LLMs, agents and semantic reasoning are playing together and can let this understanding flow into backend architecture decisions. DevOps Competence: CI/CD is not an add-on for you, but a standard. You build pipelines that make the team faster — not slower. Cloud & Kubernetes: You have already operated services in cloud environments and know how to accurately orchestrate container workloads. Vendor preference is not a must — experience already. MLOps affinity (plus point): If you've already worked with cubeflow, MLflow or similar tools, the better — if not, you bring the curiosity and readiness to learn to work quickly. Analytical depth: You love to penetrate complex problems — and find solutions that not only work but are still understandable in six months. Team orientation & communication: You work openly, partly proactive knowledge and constructively contribute to architecture discussions — even if it becomes uncomfortable.
