Specialist (w/m/d) Client / Server (VMware / Datacore) Darmstadt | Unlimited | Full time | Hybrid

The support and administration of our VMware ESX environment as well as the associated virtual infrastructure are your tasks. The management and optimization of the datacore storage solutions for ensuring the performance and availability of virtual systems is also part of this. Your work area includes installations, configurations and regular updates of the virtualization platform and storage components. When analyzing and correcting errors in the virtualization and storage environment, you work closely with specialist departments and external service providers to solve problems quickly. You monitor the system performance and ensure a stable operation. Working in exciting projects, such as the introduction of new virtualization technologies or the migration of existing systems, completes your task.

Complete training in IT (e.g. specialist in system integration) or a comparable qualification Multiannual practical experience in the administration of VMware ESX environments Finded knowledge about datacore as a storage solution for virtual systems Confidence with Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems as well as basic understanding of network architectures and security concepts Experience with monitoring and automation tools in the virtualization environment
