We are looking for a senior engineer for building, scaling, and responsible support for the central nervous system of our cloud infrastructure: a highly fail-safe, high-throughput messaging and event platform. To support our rapid growth, we are currently migrating to a real-time event drive architecture. This guarantees the smooth communication between the control plan components of all our products. With a first-class developer experience, you support dozens of product teams and enable them to easily publish and process millions of events every day.

You unravel, implement and manage highly available, distributed message broker clusters (such as Apache Kafka, Solace or NATS) across multiple data centers. You ensure the reliability, performance and error tolerance of the messaging infrastructure by implementing robust disaster recovery and failover strategies and opting for operating system configurations for deployment with extremely low latency. You automate the provision, scaling and configuration of messaging clusters. You'll start comprehensive dashboards for monitoring, alerting and logging to monitor the cluster status, throughput and latency. You define best practices for application developers and build a self-service platform that makes it easy for internal teams to configure their integrations independently.
