Software Developer QNX (m/f/d)

Application development: Development of complex embedded applications in C/C++ that are specially tailored to the requirements of QNX. System and software architecture: evaluation and integration of current embedded operating systems and ensuring a future-oriented system architecture. Interface Design: Implementation of common network standards (e.g. SNMP, Redfish, CAN) and, if necessary, design modern user interfaces with Qt. BSP Development: Adjustment and Extension of Board Support Packages (BSP) and Optimization of the Interface between Hardware and Software. Bootloader configuration: Configuration and safe handling of bootloaders such as submarine to guarantee a secure and efficient system start. System Strength: Ensuring system security by curing operating systems and consistent compliance with safety standards. Quality & Lifecycle: Accompanying the software throughout the life cycle. Evaluation of work in terms of time, quality and cost. Cross-platform work: Secure development in Linux and Windows environments as well as connection and integration to the microcontroller/microprocessor world (e.g. STM32, ARM). Team collaboration: Active collaboration in the team. Close coordination on tasks and challenges and support for colleagues in the planning and implementation of workpackages.

Complete study of computer science, electrical engineering with multi-year or comparable technical training with long-term professional experience in the IT infrastructure environment. Embedded & Architectures: Professional in embedded software development, especially on ARM64 architectures. QNX expertise: In-depth experience with QNX – both in application development in C/C++ and at system level. Operating system know-how: Funded knowledge in the field of popular embedded operating systems and safe handling in Linux and Windows environments. Tooling & DevOps: Secure handling of git, cmake and artifactory for a clean development workflow. Experience in operating system curing and implementation of system security standards for embedded devices. Microcontroller: Experience in the programming of microcontrollers/microprocessor (e.g. STM32, ARM). Quality assurance through structured software tests is not a foreign word. Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing are available. Standing for occasional national and international missions.
