Timetable planning, offer conception, route registration and capacity management, network development and feasibility studies for new traffic, vehicle circulation and fleet planning Defining the offer of railways and designing the schedule on the short and medium-term planning horizon (annual, half-year, multi-year) Definition of the formulation, summary and assessment of potential market scenarios in relation to route extension (stretches, destination, holding points) and fleet expansion as well as assessment of the impact on costs, revenues and margins – together with the areas of sales (commercial) and operation (operations) Maintaining relations with the infrastructure manager for optimal network access and representation of interests with the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) for non-discriminatory cross-supply Ensuring the timely application of the network connections at DB InfraGO AG (annual plan and under-year adjustments) Responsible for the circulation planning as a combination of road map, vehicle use (who needs to be the train for maintenance?) and the legal rest times of our train staff in close coordination with the operating management Common scenario planning and strategy setting with the areas of distribution and operation to a) Network extensions (routes, destinations, stations), b) Fleet expansion and c) impact on costs, revenues and margins Technical support for relevant business areas with regard to the development of national and EU legal requirements for best infrastructure access

completed studies (traffic engineering, logistics, geography, economics with focus on traffic) or a comparable railway training with several years of experience in the roadmap and rail construction in the SPFV 3-5 years of practical experience with the German Trassen registration method, including the use of PathOS (official interface of DB InfraGO for Trassen applications) and Anlagenportal Netz (APN) (official interface of DB InfraGO for ordering service facilities and additional services) Knowledge of railway technical issues and knowledge of railway infrastructure Knowledge of rail network usage conditions (SNB) and DB InfraGO award guidelines Bonus: Knowledge of how to use databases (Big Data)
