Your area of responsibility includes: Processing and testing of in-depth disclosures with a focus in the field of engineering, in particular analysis of foreign rights or violation of rights of third parties Decisions on the nature and scope of patent applications, possibly in consultation with external patent lawyers Development of protection declarations Representation of KIT on questions relating to patent applications, objections and complaints from patent offices and patent courts Own-sponsored advice and support of inventors and KIT organizational units in all matters of industrial legal protection Conception of business-oriented protection strategies Active participation of the protective rights portfolio Support and support of licensing and contract activities

You have: a degree in the field of process engineering, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering, preferably with completed doctoral degree and further training in industrial legal protection practical understanding of technical and economic issues relevant experience in the search of IP management databases very good MS Office knowledge good knowledge of German and English Negotiations high communication capability, safe occurrence as well as an independent, structured and targeted manner of operation good analytical thinking ability, organizational ability and team skills
