Activity The “Research Data Center of the German Pension Insurance” (FDZ-RV) section supports scientific research projects by providing data from the Pension Insurance for statistical analyses. Scientists who, for example, conduct research in the field of social protection will receive access to the process-produced microdata of statutory pension insurance upon request. The SHARE-RV project is a cooperation project between the German Pension Insurance Federation and the SHARE BERLIN Institute (SBI) to link data from the SHARE study with data from the DRV. The Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE, https://share-eric.eu/) is one of the largest European longitudinal studies in the social sciences. The study deals with the health, social networks and the socio-economic situation of people over 50. Since 2004, over half a million interviews with a total of approx. 150,000 people in 27 European countries and Israel.
