Our client is an established, family-run production company based in Gießen. The company looks back on over 90 years of company history and has continuously developed into a recognized specialist in its market segment. Today, the company combines traditional craft with modern industrial production processes.

At the site, around 100 employees are currently working in specialized areas along the entire value chain – from development and production to quality assurance, logistics and sales. Over established trade structures, products are also distributed nationwide. As part of the planned succession, the Head of Finance / Account Holder (m/w/d) position is to be reimbursed. In the long term, you will develop into a trusted savings partner (m/w/d) of the management.

You have well-founded accounting experience, ideally bring leadership skills and are interested in topics such as controlling and HR? Then we look forward to your application.

Total responsibility for financial accounting including principal, debitor, creditor, investment and wage accounting. Responsibility for the proper production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB, also for the other companies of family holding. Leadership and further development of the four-member team. Engaged cooperation with the management and active acquisition of additional strategic topics and projects. Responsible contact for internal executives and external service providers, such as tax advisors and auditors.

A well-founded commercial training, complemented by a further qualification in the field of accounting or a comparable professional orientation. Multiannual practical experience in financial accounting, preferably in medium-sized structures, as well as detectable leadership experience. Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB. Finded knowledge in DATEV and safe handling with Excel. Strong analytical competence combined with empathy and an independent, responsible working style.
